well they've changed the purpose/content of facebook. now it's more like myspace. it didn't used to be like that. and they keep changing the layout to fit it to the "new" purpose they have, so it gets harder to use

they should learn from xanga, and not change anything, just add random things noone wants, like eprops

sounds like brainwashing. xD not user friendly at all
xanga doesn't change much. just the front page usually lol

wahahaha, yeah really. just mimic xanga's style of doing that and everyone could be happy xD it's quite true, xanga is the only one where changes have yet to be forced upon you aside from those silly eprops for credits.
<< it really means, ad enhancement!

just like hd tv!

the only annoying thing on xanga is sometimes it's like.. here's your upgraded site! then the only option is to accept it or go back then try again xD they should make most things like that so you can keep the older version

yeah! and then the new 4 color tv with yellow thrown on top of rgb! even though it makes absolutely no difference in image quality because it is projected light nonetheless! woohoo!
hmm, true, they definately would like you to upgrade but at least even if you do you can go back or avoid it which is better than you can say for others. would be nice if you could choose your version in more places but most sites don't want to host all that with the multiple versions

sure it makes a differnce! the light burns out in half a time as a normal hd tv! So instead of replacing your classic tv every 10-20 years, or your hd tv every 2-5 years, youll be replacing it yearly! Did i mention the later two also are even worst for your eyes then the former?
I dont get it..most people are afraid of change but sites always change then wonder why people move on to new things..

then they should make it so you can have the "Standard" older version (which they modify slightly over time and not in radical ways) or keep upgrading every time they get something new XD
yeah, every time they change something, people always are going AGH!!! AGH!! WHAT THE?!!
and probably something like that xD

indeed, that's the real upgrade... in how quickly they break down so companies can make more money from you replacing them! and my dad remembers seeing 3d films when he was a kid but they phased out xD and yay! brighter... I mean more colorful and harder on the eyes... I mean better looking ones ftw! just what we need to burn our retinas.... I mean to uh... keep things up to date? but hmm... an interesting thing..., in every sci fi thing out there no matter how far in the future they all have some sort of screen and the most advanced seem to be those on flimsi paper or holographic but for the most part just a standard touchscreen or regular screen. so like holographic would be a more advanced 3d... but overall... standard is king (with or without upgrades, who knows, prolly some but they all are just assumed screens of the day).
change is so exciting that way eh? well, the only reason I can think of why sites change are a) more money and ads b) pretending they're actually following design trends that increase ease of use but are actually a)

well people who don't know better will think they're better and say !!! i want that one!!!
yeah >> very annoying
i like yahoo that has an option like that too. you can keep the classic or go to the modern version. most sites should have a policy like that
