they had that on the news and I believe they said russia confirmed it to be one of their test missiles that failed.

that's what it was said the following night on the news from russia. could they be lying? sure but... trying to figure something out without any substantial knowledge over just a recording of a light is... well, it could easily be a faulty camera. although, all the people arguing over it on youtube is hilarious to read. especially some of their theories xD

yeah..the two middle schoolers arguing about black holes reminds me of this pic: though yeah..I doubt its missles. Not saying its a black hole, or alieans, or something like that, but probably just a reflection or something like the northern lights.

i think the news say it was a "test" missile gone wrong. probably could have been some kind of test weapon and the weather gave it more of that kinda effect at night and also cameras can give off weird effects when recording things at night (i once tried to take a picture of the moon on my camera and it turned out to look more like a UFO than the moon.....) or... could be some kind of weapon we haven't seen RUN! and.... those arguments are funny... and... it's funny how people will reply to something that someone said to them hours before... seriously, that topic's over now... so no one know's what they're responding too :S but i say, who cares what it was... it was pretty, so let's just leave it at that. a pretty mystery in the sky to admire

Here's the real question, why would Russia claim something that would point out that they were launching illegal test missiles at night in secret?

its not illegal by national law to test non-nuclear weapons I dont think...less your japan who cant have a military so there devolping life sized gundoms pioleted by hello kitty ambassadors to secretly take over the world...
yeah..cameras can be weird at night..specially low pixals one..or if there just not held steady lol..I once took a picture of my steering wheel on my phone and it looked like hyperspace cause I dropped the phone why it took lol
I agree, enjoy the pretty instead of trying to start a international crisis lol
