still wish they would be faster. i mean people can scan them, clean up the page, and translate the latest ones in a day... so why can't the official company do that? legality under the label. Scanlators do all that very fast, but how accurate the translation is speculation, and its mostly word for word. For example, Rukia talks like shes from the 1800s in the manga (didnt cary to anime for some reason), but in the scanlation she talks just like everyone else. I assume the translations from real companys to market it, took time to copy her speech patterns or similar to give her distinction. They also take time to prevent stuff like where as scanlators just keep on translating. They probably do have the rough draft done in a day, but then it goes threw a series of editors, then the final copy probably has to get approved by some representive associated with the mangaka's company for accuracy. you can still use mangastream for naruto atleast..i dunno of anyplace that still has all of bleach up though v.v

well, that's because the people translating them probably aren't 100% fluent in both languages, plus they're not being paid, so close enough is good enough for them. but for the most part they do a good job. i was just saying since it takes only a day for them, why does it take the company years. like... only what volume 32 is released, but then there are about 46 volumes out. and seeing as each volume has about 7 or 8 wks of stuff (and probably comes out every 3 months or so) that's like 30 months behind = 2.5 years! mangastream just has the latest few volumes unfortunately, and only for the popular series.

Well, 2.5 years is kinda interesting cause, Japanese Bleach volume 1 publish date: January 5, 2002 English Bleach Volume 1 Publish Date: June 1, 2004 So they started around 2.5 years behind and are now, 2.5 years behind..Maybe they just stay behind on purpose just cause they think that release time is best for marketing..
yeah, but youre caught up in naruto arent you?..

hmm, possibly, though I'm not sure why they'd want to stay that far behind. maybe half a year to a year so they could garuntee a steady release of new bleach volumes if they randomly take longer on a volume or two in japan and enough to keep it going for a while when the series does end.
