That sounds more like what he would've wanted, a protection to safeguard the next tribe the avatar would come out of so they wouldn't be attacked just to prevent the next avatar and so that the next avatar when found wouldn't have to be sent away. Seems like they got the first part right in quickly finding the next avatar and insuring the water tribe wasn't attacked... but then they sort of did send her away. May not have been far away, but might as well have been a world away.
Yupyup, but nothing like normal seasons are changing weather. Though I guess the first series everything was supposed to take place faster to beat that solstice and then the return of sozen's comet.
lol, indeed. They should meditate! Clearly they are all out of balance with not enough air nomads!
Especially since she is a bit clueless when it came to how the city works and how to pro bend. Also could be that her being the Avatar may at the same time make him feel like he wouldn't be able to do anything to help or protect her.
Maybe we'll get to see Pabu do more tricks later on =D

yeah. don't think that' what he would have wanted. if he were alive to tell them. xD maybe if korra was able to enter the spirit world she'd have been able to find out what he really planned yeah, definitely no seasons. thought Korra would be happy to see some snow... lol it'd remind her of home that's probably true too. she is a bit clueless... but is hotheaded and doesn't like help either hehe yeah. Pabu's so cute

She has spirit world issues hmm yes. Hmm, White Lotus probably wouldn't believe her, unless she let Aang take over her body and yell at them. lol
Yup, probably figures that asking for help makes her seem clueless or incapable of doing things herself, which just leads to frustration and then burning things. So it goes round and round... lol
And different enough so that he isn't really competing against Momo.

but aang never yells! lol yeah. lol korra needs to learn that it's ok to have help. i love pabu! i think he's cuter than momo.. and he also saved the team! and looks like lin and korra are going to be more friendly now. and how did amon take down all those blimps and ships.... and i guess it was a good thing that the bats won... otherwise amon would have took away... mako's? bending? hmmmm... he probably knew the team had no chance and made sure the refs would side with the bats....

xD The past avatar take-over voice sounds like it is yelling thoug so he'd have to! Hmm... or just make Korra really tired when she did it... then he'd be more likely to yell. Guess she learned a little of that when she turned to Tenzin about her fears. You like Pabu better than Momo! Definitely think Amon has some non-bender allies inside the police force... looks like in procurement. That or they just thought Mr. Sato would give them the stuff they needed and was trustworthy, especially since he was supporting some pro-benders... certainly does help make him not look like an anti-bender to the benders. All those containers Amon was looking at probably had explosives in them. No way Amon could've taken out all those boats and the other airships with just his one airship because those would've been all metal benders. But... metal benders do need gear and provisions. Now it could be that they don't usually get gear from Mr. Sato (assuming that that's who the factory belonged to, would have to watch again and look for symbols to see if the Sato logo was there, which there might not have been... afterall Sato wouldn't want a direct association if it was indeed him and so he would use a secondary company that didn't appear to be associated) or some secondary company, but since the extra security was needed quickly they'd probably turn to the first available source. And amongst it... bombs! Why suspect Sato even more? Well, when the anti-benders appeared.. the Satos were no where to be found, conspiciously absent and not targeted. Doubtful any of the police or regular folk would've noticed in the chaos, especially having been knocked out. In fact, since the point when the fire ferrets first appeared to lose, you didn't see the Sato's from them on... Hmmm, could be... like Amon would've had Mr. Sato pay off the referee. Or perhaps Asami went and did that because she's growing to like Mako. More likely Amon had Mr. Sato do it though because he wanted to present the "best of the benders" as a bunch of cheats and once again to prevent Korra from becoming a matyr and also making her not look like such a strong bender as she couldn't even win pro bending. The police also are discredited with their failure... which looks like Tarloch had an idea this would happen. Although... worrying about matyrdom would be pointless since he openly declared he'd be coming after all the nations upon making Republic City his so... why not have gone and taking Korra's abilities right then and there? Could've... but chose not to which puts more doubt on his abilities. I think the hawkbats probably did some cheating in their other fights, but nothing so noticeable as in this match... otherwise everyone would've known.

yeah. xD but I like appa more than naga xD
he must. to have so quickly taken down all the airships and have known where all the police inside were and to have managed to sneak so many operatives in... he must have had insider knowledge to know before hand how many operatives he'd need and where the police would check and be located.
yeah, it did look like it could be one of Sato's warehouses. and yep. only saw them at the beginning of the fight. then they were gone
dunno, he might have also done research and figured out that the bats paid off all the previous fights, so he knew they'd do that again.
yeah, Tarloch is bad. he so quickly changed his mind when he heard Lin would take the blame.

I like momo and appa better... though Pabu is still great. Don't care much for Naga. He's alright but just... not as cool. Scaring the hawkbats was good though.
Indeed... although, Lin's second in command was no where to be seen there either... but he is a bender... of course Amon could make offers saying he'd let some people keep their abilities if they worked with him... but more likely some non-benders in the force like the procurement officers and such. Then again, to know how many police would be inside the arena and everything would require someone higher up...
Only problem there is that the hawkbats may have paid some, but not enough to pull off all the cheats they did in this fight... otherwise who would even try and play against them? Bolin and Mako who've been in it for at least a few years (having said this is the farthest they've gotten ever) would have to have heard something about them if they cheated as bad as they did against their team from the other bending teams.
Yupyup, he knew something like that would go down, perhaps has some inside men and knew Amon's ideas and knew he'd have a really hard time to stop it with his taskforce. Tarloch likes to do things for appearance... going after the weakest anti-benders to ensure victory.

well, at first I thought Momo and Pabu were similar, but Pabu gets cuter the more we see him. so he inched over momo xD
yeah, bet Lin will definitely investigate that!! too bad she had to save Korra instead of catching amon.
yeah... definitely something suspicious going on there. if the other team cheated so much, how come Bolin and Mako didn't seem to know anything. and why did they seem so surprised the other fight was so quick... you'd think they'd have heard more about the other guys.....
yep yep. Tarloch just likes getting credit for good things. and blaming others for bad things... he's sleezy

You must've forgotten some of Momo's scenes! Hmm, hard to save if she'd have won if she made it on his ship... I think more likely they'd have caught her and then she'd "lose" her bending. So kind of a good thing Korra fell. Korra and her working together was good; they fought well that way so if both of them had made it on the ship I think they could have brought it down and got Amon. Wouldn't that have been a huge backfire! From success to failure! Instead he got complete victory... pretty much. They should have his second captured anyways. Indeed... only knew that they shouldn't touch them outside the arena. Should have asked that other team how they were beaten so fast... Seems that not really any bending team was aware of just how much the hawkbats cheated... otherwise you'd figure other teams would try and do higher bribes. Mostly though, you figure that if any had run into or seen their cheating in the arena they'd have talked about it and rumors would spread... and if not by the teams than by the watchers and fans... Yupyup... entirely. All for politics and his own power play. Notice how no one except Korra could fire bend in his task force.

lol that could be too. i think i liked momo's and appa's interactions more. xD
we don't know what exactly would have happened. xD but yeah, if both korra and lin made it up there... they'd have a chance. lin was doing better once she realized they had electricity sticks and weren't sneaking up on her. plus she had the special chi blocking blocking armor. and korra was also doing better on her fighting against the chi blockers. at least compared to the first time
yeah. so far Amon 5... team avatar 0 xD. and what did happen to the 2nd in command...
you'd think that they would want to study their opponent to find out ways they could beat them. and yeah, you'd think that if they were seen cheating all the time, that they'd be disqualified!! and have a reputation for cheating... and not be fan favorites
yeah, his task force was mostly waterbenders. and i think one earth bender.

Momo and Appa had a lot more interaction, not too much for these new two. Maybe they'll get more later on. Though maybe not, they seem to have less character weight. Mostly its just Korra, Mako, and Bolin
Still the number of them up there I think could've gotten Lin by herself using those one things they like to throw plus their electricity sticks. Though she was a good fighter. And yeah, Korra did way better than her first and even second encounter with them. Maybe her air bending training is paying off... lol
Speaking of electricity sticks... Amon basically called them the new non-benders form of bending xD
Indeed... conveniently absent? Figure she'd bring him in on this security job for some role, but was not shown anywhere. Could be she left him back in charge for the city but... when you know the set target... usually all the emphasis is placed there so... he should've been around somewhere!
Indeed, and it did sound like they would watch each other's matches... so why wouldn't they have watched those involving the hawkbats? Exactly... unless they forgot to pay the announcer this time xD Which would be unlikely... and he was the same announcer as always so he wasn't changed out by Amon or anyone.
Yup, just one or two earth and the rest water... no fire to show that he isn't a fire bender aggressive supporter, but some earth to keep the earth tribe happy and involved. Fire might've found that insulting but know that accepting not being included was necessary.

yeah, they definitely haven't been in it too much. and only together once. pabu is cute with his tricks that he does for bolin xD
that's true, there were a large number. and they don't play fair. and rofl, indeed, airbenders are good at dodging! aang sure was xD
dunno maybe she left him in charge in the airships?
yeah :S and yep, if korra always listened to the matches, she would have heard something before about the hawkbats! and it didn't look like the announcers was paid off. he told the truth as he saw it, and was complaining about corrupt judges
wonder if there aren't many fire bender police either....

Yup, that one time as seen in orcs avatar. lol Pabu does do cute tricks and Bolin is always excited for them.
Aang had fun dodging Zhou xD Seems to be the only air bending ability she's picked up.
*shrug* could be
So if he had complained about the judge like he had that time, that judge would have been fired for sure but that was the same judge throughout the tournament. The announcer was pretty funny when the anti-bender came for him... wonder why they had the anti-bender attack him...
Hmm, could be. So far we've only seen some non-bender police down on the ground near the park and the metal bending police. Haven't seen any water benders in it but I imagine there would be some... like the opposite of Tarloch and the same in not having Fire benders.

pabu did some more cute tricks today lol he's pretty cute yep yep, but at least she's picking something up! better than nothing. yeah, that announcer was hilarious! and dunno, the announcer didn't seem like he was a bender... and he was just telling what was happening, so you'd think that the equalists would have liked that looks like Tarloch is using the opportunity to get a bigger piece of the pie. i wonder if he leaked the info to the equalists... because he knew if lin looked bad, he could take over her job :/ lol mako sure isn't very nice to korra. it was funny, tahno was much nicer to her than mako was... and it was cool to see the cabbage guys kid! and that Lin inherited some of Toph's sensing wonder if korra overhearing sato messed up his plans... so he had to attack sooner. and did asami really not know what her dad was up to?!

Hmm, well, Bolin did a talking thing while holding Pabu and then Pabu was on his head and got the rub down... not sure I'd call those Pabu doing tricks. Still was cute.
Indeed, and not nearly so frustrated either.
Figure they'd want it broadcasted so everyone could hear exactly what was going on. So it was kind of weird that they silenced him. Maybe they thought his voice would drown out Amon's xD
That could be... like how Sato had one of his people "leak" info to Korra to lure them to the trap, Tarloch could have had one of his non-bender aids who pretends to be an equalist supporter (like a double agent) leak the info about Lin's plans to Amon. Could very well be... not sure that he wants her job per se since I think he'd rather still be on the council, but if it gives him a chance to put more into his own task force or perhaps put his people in charge of Lin's police... Oh! What was also interesting to see was that it is Tarloch and his news lackeys doing those intro flashbacks to what happened previously.
Yep. Looks like Mako's leaning more towards Asami again. Until a brief moment at the end but Korra sent him back to Asami there. Way to step up for Korra, and talking with Tahno was a nice thing to do... lol he was kinda nice to her there... but creepy too. Clearly though he's very depressed to not be able to bend. Wonder if they've canceled pro-bending for good...
Indeed! Yay for cabbage man! Hope they get his holdings back to him now that its obvious that was Sato! When she first took off her boot I was wondering what she was doing... can't she bend with shoes on? Then when she went to put it down it dawned on me that that was Toph-like and right there she did her mom's technique. That was cool to see. Imagine more fans were cheering over these two things!
I think it more of messed up or put a jinx in Amon's plans. He was probably on the phone with Amon and the time they'd bought was enough to get every link to Amon out of Sato's known warehouses. Amon probably didn't count on Sato using Korra finding out as a chance to get his own revenge. But then... Amon did have his main lackey there... who somehow escaped from last episode (maybe he rolled off the edge of the building??) so then it would have to have been sanctioned but then... if Amon didn't really want Korra to be captured or made a matyr, why let Sato lead her to a trap? Hmmmmmm. That's a good question... could be Asami is in on it and it really is still going to Amon's plans where they knew Korra would be rescued by her two friends and so Asami just pretended to get her dad... which would keep Korra out from any possible Matyrdom while at the same time testing Sato's machines and capturing quite a few metal benders.
